When I first became a Christian I subscribed to the magazine, "Wittenburg Door". I loved it at the time. Eventually I came to see them as leaning to the left of Evangelicalism, which by itself, is not a major problem with me. I am willing to take part in discussions with the so-called right and left within Evangelicalism. I consider myself neither right or left.
According to John I. Carney who says he is a contributing editor for the Wittenburg Door:
It's not clear to me what current relationship there is but some important information can be found on the Lighthouse Trails website: http://www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com ... alties.htm about Youth Specialties promoting "contemplative spirituality".The Door has a long and storied history. It was originally founded by Youth Specialties, a California-based publisher of youth group materials.
Let's check it out and discuss The Door, Youth Specialities, etc.
