Resources that support a King James Version Only View
I was brought to tears while reading the Translators Notes found in the 1611 Authorized Version (not the revised version) King James Bible. I think it answers the questions. I will take my stand with the A.V.

Prince of Rosh?
What are your scholarly opinions of this verse regarding Rosh is it a nation or a position? Translations obviously differ and because of that the interpetation of scripture will vary. As I've said I do use NKJV as a companion to my KJV I believe one is right the other wrong. I for one agree wholehea...

I suppose 'bastard' may distract a certain crowd even my thoughts would drift on that one. At the moment I'm not sure what the NIV has in it's place but 'illegitimate' has the same meaning. The greek word used in Hebrews 12:8 is 'nothos' and translates to either one. Just an FYI I have always though...

Bible Translations - KJV
Gents, first let me apologize for a cut and paste regarding a KJV only approach. It was irresponsible of me especially since I left the next day on vacation with no follow up Regardless of what translation or interpetation you use is it sufficent for you to answer some basics like: Do you know God? ...

One site I frequent goes into some of the problems regarding the various types of bibles out there. http://www.fundamentalbiblechurch...

I don't think you'll get a clear picture from just the Quran. Most of the 'prophecy' comes from a hadith or hadeeth from what I gather a hadeeth is from someone who adds to what is written or gives more than what the quran does. Look in the hadeeth section  http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/ Book 36...

The sign of the times most muslims, sunni and shi'a alike, are waiting for is the coming of their mahdi (also thought to ride a white horse). Who according to their beliefs will rule the world for seven years then come against Jerusalem to rid it of the 'Zionists'. The mahdi will come after great tu...
