Re: One God in Three Persons

My concerns are this. I know the concept of the Trinity did not come from Judaism nor did Yahushua speak of a trinity. Then where did it come from? Throughout scripture we are taught there is only One God. I am told His Word was made manifest in the flesh an dwelt among us. In the beginning was the ...

Re: One God in Three Persons

I am convinced that God's Word was made manifest in the flesh and dwelt among us. His Word He chose to call His Son and named Him 'Yahweh Saves'. They are one and the same. But this word trinity I believe is only mans vain attempt to define God and it sometimes confuses people thinking I actually wo...

Re: One God in Three Persons

Not really! I gave, again, a whole pattern of behaviour laid down in scripture to lead to a conclusion. You will need to explain that away to make thomas say things contrary to the circumstances. Remember, the disciples did NOT say to thomas, "God is risen." They said "We have seen t...

Re: Whats been going in my brain lately

What is Hebrew roots? Some new movement afoot? Never heard of it until I visited here. I'm just saying God says to observe the Passover on the 14th day of Nisan from generation to generation forever. That's a pretty tall order if you ask me. As explicit as it is I still hear others tell me it's too ...

No man knows the day or hour

I was sailing offshore from Fernandina Beach to Cape Canaveral, FL this morning. Oh I guess it was around 0530 or 0600 and I heard a show with R.C. Sproul and Sproul Jr. (I think). Anyways they brought up the subject of Messiahs return discussing the statement that "no man knows the day or hour...

the 70 weeks

Ok, since I think there is scriptural support to say where the seven kings are from. I'm thinking we ought too see some reconstruction in Babylon soon. But this now lead me to other questions. There is whats called a classical interpretation of the seventy weeks spoken of in the book of Daniel. But ...

Re: Nebuchadnezzar's Dream of the Image - Daniel 2

Hi gents and ladies, Another question remains for me. What about the seventy week period. I begining to think there is no so called gap in time between the third and fourth kingdoms anymore. Me thinks it's a straight shot through no parking, no meandering, no loitering, no time is wasted. But where ...

Re: Whats been going in my brain lately

Hi Jim, I think we do find an emphasis in the New Testament. We read of our Lord celebrating the Passover Feast with His disciples. We hear Him say when we do break bread and consume wine during the feast we are to Remember His body broken and blood shed for us. He being our Passover Lamb. Throughou...

Re: Whats been going in my brain lately

Hi Jim may the Lord bless you and yours, I cannot find anywhere in the new testament which explicitly states it is important especially towards salvation. However from what I have read in the old testament these feasts were instituted by God Himself and I cannot find anywhere it says NOT to do them....

Re: Whats been going in my brain lately

More on observing Feast days I tend to think there ought to be a desire to do the commandments of God it is I think an important aspect of a Christian (Greek for follower of Christ). Have we not been commanded to keep certain feasts Leviticus 23:4? Where in the Bible did it say to no longer observe ...

Re: Daniel chapters 8 and 11

Hi again, Some more thoughts regarding Daniels prophecy. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition...
