Isaiah was orginally written in Hebrew the Hebrew word used in that particular verse is ra'. I didn't make this up nor did I assign calamity to it as a new meaning. It's Hebrew and according to their language ra' can mean either, it depends what context it is being used. So what was God saying here?...
